I haven't seen any information about Huawei. The main Chinese firms producing x86 CPUs are Zhaoxin and Hygon, but Hygon appears to be restricted from manufacturing further CPUs following its inclusion on the Chinese embargo list.

I don't understand Chinese (probably you meant it). I translated the CPU name, and I'm certain those are ARM processors. In my previous message I mentioned x86 chips, and I know many firms produce ARM chips, even Chinese ones. Edited June 14, 2020 by The_russian

It's a ZHAOXIN KaiXian KX-U6780A with benchmarks listed. A side-by-side review is available for this model and the i5-7500. The KX-U6780A offers twice the thread count, but its single-threaded speed lags behind.
