CPU hangs at low speed 0.39 GHz on Ryzen 4600H
Hello, Your 5-month-old Lenovo Legion 5 laptop's processor is stuck at 0.39 GHz whether plugged in or on battery. Your sibling reported significant throttling during lessons and I saw the CPU clock stuck at that speed. At that time the BIOS was EUCN28WW and Windows Version was 20H2 SPECS: GPU - NVIDIA GTX 1650 CPU - AMD Ryzen 4600H Motherboard: Lenovo Legion 5 15ARH05 Type: 82B5 BIOS was EUCN31WW (upgraded) OS - Windows 10 Home Troubleshooting steps included: 1. Adjusted Windows power plan settings (Balanced, High Performance) 2. Modified VANTAGE modes, pressed Fn+Q 3. Experimented with Windows 10 Min/Max Processor Power Management. Checked temperatures and fan speeds. 4. Disconnected the charger, held the power button for 45 seconds, then reconnected 5. Performed a factory reset inside the system 6. Restored BIOS and later re-flashed to EUCN22WW 7. Ran Windows 10 installation from a USB drive (versions 21H1, 1909) 8. Updated all drivers from the official site 9. Reinstalled and removed SYSTEM firmware, DEVICE firmware via DEVICE Manager 10. Added AMD Ryzen chipset driver and more.
Restart the installation of the chipset drivers and choose an alternative power setting.
