Poor thinking on my part I forgot to add extra insurance to the package a very limited insurance exists for $100 But a very beginner move on my part. I am waiting to get MSI motherboard back for extra images to post I let a REP know but its the weekend so no response. I like -18mv all core except -13mv on Core 5 because its a pig.
It offers no advantage for thermals on AM5 since these processors don’t flex like older LGA 1700 models. The contact frames might affect mounting pressure in memory areas, leading to occasional memory problems—rare but doable. Installing them is simpler than doing an ILM CPU setup, yet there’s little real gain. There’s no advantage to doing it, so why risk it, even if the chances are small? It will remain unnoticed beneath the cooler.
