Could not configure speed and duplex to 10 Gbps.
Hi, today I installed a new internet connection with up to 10 Gbps speed. I also have a TP-link TX401 and a Cat 7 Ethernet cable, but I encountered a problem. When I switch to speed and duplex to set the speed to 10 Gbps instead of 1 Gbps, the connection drops and it reports that the network cable isn't connected. I've tried changing the Ethernet cable and switching the network card to a different PCIe slot, but nothing has changed.
Vérifiez si votre routeur prend en charge 10 Gbps. Est-ce que votre appareil peut accéder à cette vitesse ?
What's connected at the other end of the cable? Have you tried different cables? CAT 7 isn't an Ethernet standard, so it's best to avoid those types.
On the other hand, my router supports up to 10 Gbps as well, and the Cat 7 cable I own does too. I've also used a different cable before, but it didn't work.
Are those the numbers for your router or your internet speed? Typically, most routers don’t offer an uneven connection (higher data out, lower in).
