Hello everyone, I just won an auction on eBay for a Cisco CCNA Lab. The total cost including shipping and handling is $130. Here’s the link to the item: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Cisco-lab-2924x...c#shpCntId. What are your thoughts? Thanks to all!

I’d consider an L3 switch too. Check out the 3560 or 3550 models.

This link points to a Cisco security lab course. It depends on your needs—someone looking for hands-on training might find it valuable, while others may prefer other options. As for pricing, it’s important to compare the cost with similar courses to see which offers the best value.

Gather WIC-2T cards for every router to enable frame rely. Identify models that include them.

I demonstrated both options to help with your CCNA/CCNP preparation. Which one do you find more useful?

Choose the first option. It includes WIC-1 serial cards. The lower router uses NM cards. For CCNA/CCNP security, select an ASA5505 or ASA5510.

You only need to confirm if everything fits with the lab requirements. The seller mentioned it was set up for CCNA to CCNE, so double-check those details.

I believe it exceeds what's sufficient. I used the identical configuration but swapped out different switches; L3 instead of L2. The seller is talking about a console server—this connects all routers and switches, letting you manage each device directly without needing to disconnect and reattach the console cable.
