Hey everyone, I'm planning to assemble a gaming PC and checking out the components. I have a few RAM options to consider:

1) CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16
2) CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3600MHz C18
3) G.skill TridentZ Neo 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16
4) G.skill TridentZ Neo 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3600MHz C16

Which one should I pick? The prices vary a lot, and I'm curious about how they compare in performance.

It seems like you're comparing four options, noting that two are also decent. Would you like to discuss which ones stand out?

The fourth option is the best because it offers the lowest CL among all choices. For Ryzen, higher frequency and reduced latency (C or lower) are preferable.

On AMD I’d usually avoid Corsair since it doesn’t seem to deliver the maximum performance they promise.

For that cost variation, it’s clearly the most affordable option. The pricier models don’t justify the slight boost in performance they offer.

I share the thoughts of @boggy77 and it also relies on the Ryzen processor you have. I believe a CPU from the 2000 series might struggle with 3600 MHZ RAM at that frequency. You may need to run them at a lower speed for better stability.

Preparing for the Ryzen 7 3700X is on my list, but I’m considering the Ryzen 4000 lineup as well because I plan to assemble it by the end of this year. I’ll gather some insights and tips from around.
