There are actually quite a lot of side quests. But you have to explore to find them but i do agree. Skyrim style mods would be awesome, i cant wait for co-op modding so me and my mate can use the badass zombie mods already on the nexus

Achieving frame rates as high as 30 fps on an i7 Extreme seems impressive, but it doesn't necessarily mean the game is breaking the rules. Performance can vary based on settings and hardware.

Adjust your preferences. I'm using an i5 and haven't seen any frame drops. Distance and foliage quality are the main issues.

It hasn't happened to me either. The worst experience was when the game suddenly slowed down for a moment while both the game and my CPU tried to understand what was going on. So far, it hasn't caused any serious issues. The only times it affected me were during late-night sessions and risky jumps.
