The manufacturer likely uses thermal testing methods to verify performance. They probably measure heat dissipation under load conditions to ensure the cooler effectively handles the CPU's power output.

TDP refers to a vague measurement that varies based on the person using it and their method. It’s enough to note that although it functions, the 5900x won’t increase as much or last as long as a premium cooler.

Das klingt nach einem cleveren Trick, um etwas klein in einen größeren Raum zu passen.

Would the wraith max be compatible? I have a prism of similar size, but it seems it wouldn't fit in the mini case. It might not work well in a compact form factor either. Check the AMD TDP details here: https://www.gamersnexus.net/guides/3525-...r-opinions

I'm still puzzled about how they arrived at those figures. I've observed it achieving 200W PPT with PBO and CO, and 240W PPT with some of my advice. I've also noticed it reaching 65W at the wall without any GPU activity, and 300W from the wall when the GPU isn't running. It's unclear where they obtained these numbers.

This figure usually combines scientific factors with mystical elements.

Sorry, the largest cooler that can fit is only 58mm tall, whereas the Wraith Prism measures about 100mm.

The TDP concept is misleading; companies should communicate clearly about these details instead of just giving a number.

It's been happening for a while now, and everyone does it. It's best to look at reviews that focus on each cooling unit separately from the CPU.
