Coolers and CPUs? You're not sure what they mean?
I kept the 3080 underdeveloped and restricted its power because there were too many components on the same board in my den—I couldn’t move the printer off the circuit. It draws 400 watts when it spikes, which is a lot!
I’d prefer a more substantial measure… there are larger priorities to address, such as exploding power supplies and the absence of GPUs.
I always recommend picking the top cooler you can afford. Thermalright is a favorite, while others such as Noctua, Scythe, and that group that doesn’t mind just using whatever works come through well. Avoid wasting time fixing things because they overheat—just get a solid cooler and move on. If you’re curious about overclocking, it’ll pay off to have extra capacity.
It's absolutely accurate! Reflecting on my Le Grand Macho RT and TY-143 reminds me of something special.
The Cryorig H7 Quad Lumis are my top choice from this week. I still have two units in my setup, and I really enjoy their look.
