Also, would this be a feasible scenario where I could replace a 12900k with a 13700k? For the Second PC? Then invest in a 14700k for my main PC?
Or stick with a 12900k if Intel opts to utilize LGA 1851 for the 14th Gen?
I intended to assemble the PC that I linked with a 12900k initially, but after giving it some thought, I wanted to switch to a 13700k because it's newer than a 12900k...
And I planned to use a 14700k, but I was uncertain if the 14th Gen utilizes that LGA 1851 or still employs LGA 1700...... Which is a gamble.
I would assert with some confidence that it's LGA 1700. This is not a new architecture as initially planned; this is merely Raptor Lake with some minor clock speed enhancements and, in the case of the 14700K, some additional E cores.
Asus, Gigabyte, and Asrock BIOS updates will add support for the forthcoming 14th-gen Intel processors.

The 13700K is somewhat faster than the 12900K, so based on that, it makes sense to opt for that. Although some of the 12900K's come in a special box with a model of the silicon wafer, which can serve as a nice display piece, so there's that.
The 14700K should be released in October; if you desire that, I would recommend waiting for it. I would purchase the CPU and the board simultaneously.
