Yeah, see my edits. I'm an edit monster on this forum and I tend to respond before my brain finishes thinking. IMO, Ryzen 3000 is a sidegrade, Intel 9700k is a scam, and Intel 9900k is too expensive for the benefits.

From personal experience on my chip between 4.7 and 5ghz there's not a huge difference in perceived performance. But better cooling isnt a bad idea and can be reused typically
