Yea, i know its a bit overkill thats why im happy to just get 32 gb also i am going to test if there is that much of a difference if not ill give my brother a pair of 2x8 since he is in the process of building his own PC too.

But even with 32GB it doesn’t seem enough. It feels like we’re on the same page. A 4x4 setup uses 16GB, and he was wondering if he should stick with 8GB sticks for a total of 32GB, or invest in 16GB sticks to free up space for more storage. Probably, if he needed to run several games at once, 32GB would be helpful.
