I've discovered an offer on eBay.de at a reasonable price, but there appear to be some black spots on the CPU? Is it safe to purchase a Delided CPU? The auction is closing soon and it's around 60£.
Item specifics: This listing includes an Intel ® Core i5-7600K processor @ 3.80GHz, 3801 MHz, 4 cores (s), LGA 1151. It comes with a Z270 GAMING M5 motherboard. The CPU was professionally removed and the old thermal paste was replaced with Conductonaut (liquid metal). The system operated flawlessly until it was upgraded to a Ryzen model, which runs smoothly up to 4.4 GHz at optimal temperatures. There are some accessories for the motherboard along with the packaging from Intel, but no cooler is included. The mainboard functions perfectly.
I've also shared some photos of the item!
It’s an auction coming up soon, priced at 56 EURs. Only four bidders are participating!
I wouldn't really be very interested, but if you manage to get it at a reasonable price, it could be worth considering. Aim to secure it for a lower cost than the standard rate because of the higher chances involved.
It's an auction with high expectations. This CPU costs around 7600k and, despite having four cores, it still struggles in games today. Even newer models with six cores face problems. What model are you using now, and what makes you interested in this one?
I own a 4th generation i7, aware it won't be a major jump but feels like a good deal at this cost! Specifically around 4790k. Edited April 9, 2020 by Mehrdad.Sh
