This speed isn't suitable for a simple game on a young child's system with a decent GPU.
Average frame rate at 60fps on Ultra in GTA is typically around 90-100 FPS, depending on game updates and settings.
The FPS difference remains similar even after disabling the custom settings you created.
I usually play at ultra. UwU though, I think most of my games aren’t super tough... plus, if ultra means everything is at its maximum then I don’t see the point in following that rule either. Often when something is maxed out it just means there wasn’t enough hardware at launch. o.o ultra implies there’s a setting called ultra or it’s open to interpretation. : p
sure, i understand the point. it might be more about adjusting settings or expectations rather than performance differences. i share a similar configuration and haven’t faced any issues with high-resolution gaming, playing at 1440p or 4k.
It really depends on the game. For instance, in a fatal frame 5 situation with maximum settings, it looks amazing and my GPU fans stay off. The card's frequency is just barely above idle. But I understand the need to balance graphics quality and performance—it's manageable. I can play RE3 HD at around 180-200 FPS, which feels almost maxed out. The main reason I can't reach full performance is that my 8GB of VRAM isn’t enough; the game expects more than 12 GB.
i really hope i had started with warzone at the lowest options, 720p after it was installed... i kept pushing for a polished look (hard because of the rough textures) and high frame rates... the maximum i achieved was around 190... now i’m sure i could have improved a lot without all those flashy effects (some actually helped speed things up, though... moving more work to the gpu instead of the cpu might help). yes, you can! but be mindful, since simple calculations show 1080p won’t fit well on a 1440p screen, it’s better to stick with 1080p on a 4k display, or a 5k monitor for proper scaling. (or else it’ll be a mess!)
It seems Nvidia offers a utility within its control panel. Let me clarify that for you.
