I’ve participated in many scrims and become quite competitive, which might explain my perspective. Until recently, the game was among the top contenders, but now frequent pointless updates, laggy modes, absurd metas, and a 100% random system have made it tough. Players are now overly competitive and stressed. If you still want to try, but aiming for a serious or competitive experience, it’s probably not the right time with how the game is now. S2 and S3 were the best periods to play.
I enjoyed Fortnite when I had no online games, but now I have PS5 and CS:GO which are much more convenient.
