I never used a 16 in the rig I actually have, particularly for gaming. Operating at 15-15.5gb doesn’t feel right for me. The RAM is quite affordable, so there’s no need to skip spending a bit more for 32.

IPC plays a significant role, especially with improvements across generations of less than 20% gains per generation. The type of processor doesn't matter as much as the overall trend.

I searched for the same RAM package and saw if it would work for me. Yes, the CPU can be upgraded later. Games such as Gotham Knight and Spider-Man show high CPU usage when ray tracing is enabled.

I prioritize RAM first, then CPU. Monitor this problem closely. Single-threaded performance is being tested today.

Curious about the reason for two browsers? Also, any aftermarket antivirus solutions seem like empty promises—they don’t offer meaningful advantages compared to built-in Windows Defender.

I’d prioritize enhancing the CPU for smoother multitasking. The B450M Mortar Max is an MSI motherboard, and my searches suggest upgrading to something like the 5800X3D for better performance without major changes to your setup.

Doesn't require two browsers? Some perform better or specific tools function more effectively in certain situations.

They released Firefox after Netscape Navigator, and I’ve managed everything I required using it.

Typically I favor Edge for tasks... Streaming videos in Firefox works well. Since my passwords and login details are linked to Windows, formatting the PC makes everything sync automatically. I like Edge because you can press ALT + TAB without launching the browser, which can be frustrating when you're using it that way.

MSI MBO card. The CPU temperature is getting too high, especially in Asia. Upgrading the cooler fan would help. It might require a major CPU upgrade for you.
