The Neo is categorized as B-Die, but tuning it offers significant performance gains. For a $20 difference, it's clearly worth it.

You've just started your comparison, and it looks like the B450 might be the most suitable choice for you—no need to rely on the perks of the X570.

I understand, but it would be better to create a new thread for this discussion.

Alright everyone, I’m set to proceed with the following items: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SXMZLPK MSI B450 Tomahawk Max https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WF6ZQST The RAM discussion comes up again... I don’t need RGB (the tower is on the floor next to my desk) unless an RGB option offers better value than a non-RGB setup. I’d prefer not to spend extra for something I don’t require or want. How does this configuration perform? G.SKILL 32GB (2 x 16GB) Ripjaws V Series DDR4 PC4-25600 3200MHz https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0171GQR0C

Updated the reference to a different model after discovering compatibility issues. This product has a rating of 10, so I’m choosing this option: G.SKILL 32GB (2 x 16GB) Ripjaws V Series DDR4 PC4-25600 3200MHz https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0171GQR0C

Hey everyone, sorry for the repeated post. I just found a new RAM option after careful investigation. Corsair LPX 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz C16 DDR4 DRAM Memory Kit, Black (CMK32GX4M2B3200C16). It’s great for the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max and doesn’t have extra RGB lights. Any thoughts? Did I miss something important?

CPU upgrade would be great, but aim for a fast 3600 speed with around 16GB cache. This kit looks promising; you likely won’t need 32GB unless you’re using virtual machines or heavy content creation. Some games might require 8GB, but it usually needs only 1-2GB. I’ve played all modern titles on 2x4GB or 8GB systems without any major performance drops. Check this RAM option—it’s the best budget choice I know that works with Ryzen 3000. If you’re willing to invest more, consider a Samsung B-die kit; 3200 CL14 units are reliable and easier to overclock compared to others.
