I understand your needs. My production process requires a lot of memory, especially when running multiple tasks like Chrome. Right now I'm already near 16 GB, so upgrading to 32 would help. Even when idle after startup, I'm using around 33% RAM just for background activities, and adding sample libraries in FL Studio like NI Kontakt will only increase the load.
