Check if you intend to build an RTX4070Ti. It's best to stick with the AM5 platform rather than going down to AM4. If you choose AM5, you can easily add a new CPU when it comes out and stop using the current one. Going for AM4 would require a complete PC upgrade later, which is a huge waste of money.

Nah don't worry about them burning in Motherboards. Not gonna happen. It got fixed long time ago. As
@Lucky_SLS
said above it got fixed through BIOS updates. Nothing to worry about now.

This is the suggested configuration if you intend to buy now. Prioritizing the AM5 path offers long-term savings. Upgrading only the CPU and GPU at a time will be cost-effective. The 1500W PSU provides sufficient power for the RTX5000 series, while higher-end 1200W alternatives are similarly priced. Corsair is recommended for reliability.

The RTX4070 Ti card serves as a placeholder for the upcoming RTX4070Ti release. The case accommodates all components comfortably and simplifies installation. I opted for a faster 48GB RAM option over 64GB, though you can expand later if needed. Reducing GPU size to RTX4070 Super is advisable once it becomes available, as performance will be close to RTX4070Ti while costing similarly. Unless the RTX4070Ti Super offers significant advantages, sticking with RTX4070 Ti makes sense.

If you don't wanna spend that now and wanna go for it when RTX5090 releases.
Just purchase RTX4070Ti Super for now. And that is it. You won't be needing the CPU either for the games you plan to play at 1440p. No big difference. As 3700X is already fast enough CPU. No need of 5800X3D. That be waste of money. No need of PSU either. That RX750M can easily handle RTX4070Ti Super.

I have two CPUs to consider. Either of them would represent a major improvement over your existing processor.
Check the reviews for these models in a few weeks. Focus on the RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB and RTX 4080 Super 20GB.
Find out more about their performance soon.
