Puget Sound Systems recommends Ryzen for 6K editing in Premiere and Threadripper for 8K editing. Check their guide here: https://www.pugetsystems.com/recommended...re-Pro-143. Also, compare 11th Gen Intel Core processors with AMD Ryzen 5000 series for Premiere Pro performance.

Check the message below in my profile? Read it, you'll understand... You're interested in something that might cause a board swap issue. Everything comes out and goes back. If it's not broken, don't try to fix it.

Keep the X470 as it is. It's fine, and making changes won't bring any real benefits while costing you money.

I didn't resist the offer on the ASUS ROG Strix X570-E motherboard with PCIe 4.0, Aura Sync lighting, 2.5 Gbps, Intel Gigabit LAN, Wi-Fi 6, and dual M.2 heatsinks. The shipping cost was $11.28, so I’ll receive it tomorrow. Amazon listed it at $329. Regarding your question about upgrading the OS—can you swap the NVMe from the x470 +5900X build to the x570 +5900X? I searched online but haven’t found anyone discussing this change, especially for Win10. Win7 seems to be the only version mentioned. Let me know if you need more guidance.
