He’s really eager to get his PC built, but the RAM costs are skyrocketing. Should I buy them right away or hold off? I’m worried the prices might keep rising.

It will likely take several months for prices to stabilize, maybe a year or more. I’d purchase now before things get worse since GPU costs are expected to rise.

Believe it or not, prices should drop over the next few months. I’m planning to buy a new PC for around $500 less than before. I want to upgrade from 32GB with 5200MHz to 64GB at 6400MHz or even 6800MHz. I don’t think I’ll pay between $500 and $750 for that RAM. Just a year ago, the same kit was about $240 to $310.
