You're considering upgrading your MS-7525 board with Intel processors. You have two choices: the Intel Pentium E6800 or the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400. Since you're on a tight budget, the E6800 might be more affordable. Adding an GTX750 2GB graphics card will also impact performance. Check compatibility and reviews to decide what fits best.

The Pentium model offers improved performance since most games gain little from multiple cores. A single or dual core with a solid clock speed would suffice for the titles mentioned.

GTA v will definitely take advantage of extra cores. It’s hard to say exactly what you mean.

The main two processors lack impressive clock rates. Gameplay gains from higher frequencies. Both chips might handle GTA V similarly.

It seems the core2 quad can be overclocked and will outperform a Pentium in many cases. I understand the drawbacks of the Pentium, but its cost is justified.

Don't waste any more money unless you can afford something with a quad-core processor.

The Core2 quad features a dual-core design. Choosing AMD would likely be more advantageous in this scenario.

Xeon E5450 is available at affordable prices if you're looking to save money. Make sure to check motherboard and chipset compatibility before purchasing. Keep in mind that certain games may no longer work due to missing instruction sets on this processor.
