They seem to have four pins each, but that’s unusual—typically switches use eight.

I linked a POS device (card reader) with just four pins to the router through the switch, and everything functions perfectly. Still unsure what’s happening.

Have you explored configuring a fixed IP address? When linking a device to that network's Wi-Fi, does it receive an IP and access the internet?
