Early rumors suggest a 6-core processor with 96MB cache. Prices are expected near $300, possibly around $249, though past trends show it might be closer to $350 for similar models.

The R7 7800X3D needs a price reduction. In 2024, paying over $300 for a 6-core CPU isn't reasonable. Consider opting for the 8-core version instead.

I observed it. I’m curious about how this affects the rumors surrounding the 9800X3D arriving in October, and what it implies for the 9000 X3D—will their release be delayed further?

I sense they're being delayed until the January 2025 preview and February-march updates. Given the reception of Zen5's launch, I'm not surprised by this postponement.

Speculation: 9800x3D priced at $450, 7800x3D at $7800, $350, 7600x3D at $250. This wouldn't change the assumed lead of 9800x3D, but it wouldn't turn it into a huge deal unless it significantly outperforms the 7800x3D.

If it means more development on the X3D 9000 line, I’m glad because I’d like to own one.

I'm watching how the Windows update impacts the AM4 CPU, similar to what happened with my 5800X3D. The changes should restore the performance that an ordinary admin account once had, which is missing from the hidden or disabled admin settings.

They mentioned they'll bring major upgrades for the 9000x3d line. I'm counting on them using insights from the latest x3d chips to deliver a performance boost exceeding 20%.

The 9700x offers solid headroom in its stock setup, suggesting a noticeable frequency increase beyond what’s expected. Alongside this, Zen5 delivers strong clock speed improvements. A 20% boost seems reasonable, but I’m skeptical the extra $100 for the 7800x3D will justify it.
