Yep, and I don't have a machine to drop it in. May need to gift my son with an early Christmas upgrade. 9900k showing age.

The 9900K remains quite solid, though moving to a 6-core setup feels a bit unusual to me.

I understand the same but notice how my 5600x3d works well and I don’t mind the 7600x3d, though at $299 it’s not worth it. I bought the 7800x3d at MC for that price. Now it feels more like a collector’s piece since I already own the 5600x3d. I’m a bit of a believer. I’m honest about it.
