Hi there,
The manual says your ASROCK B450M Pro supports quad channel, but now with two identical 32GB sticks at 3200MHz, the system keeps dropping to 2133MHz. Could you have any suggestions on what might be causing this issue?

It indicates that your CPU struggles with XMP profiles on four sticks due to increased memory controller load, or the specific stick lacks a functional XMP overclocking profile. You might still use manual RAM overclocking as an alternative.

I need to attempt a manual overclock; it's unusual since they start at 3200 but drop to 2133mhz.

base 3200 rams typically have CL around 22 or higher, but I question if those are the ones you're referring to.
If they drop to 2133, then that would be their base value.

My profile has been refreshed to the newest version, and my processor is an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 as well.

This cpu at 2666mhz should function properly with four sticks.

I found original RAM support for the second generation Ryzen.
2nd Gen AMD Ryzen offers various RAM speeds based on several factors.
This data isn’t readily available to the public, so we compiled a summary from the information we gathered on...
www.pugetsystems.com
Although updates have improved RAM support since then, I wouldn’t expect speeds above 2666.

Exactly, the CPU only allows 2666mhz on four DIMMs. While certain chips can exceed this, it's quite uncertain (a bit of a lottery). (IMC silicon lottery) The speeds you get are what you're assured.

Did you attempt 2933 and it reset? Should I suggest using 2666 instead, or should I try setting XMP at 2666?
