I think clearing CMOS means applying the standard configuration. It’s odd you brought this up again—it’s the second time I’ve seen something like this. It's different from merely restarting to the factory settings if you don't fully remove the CMOS battery and properly power down the system. Simply going back to defaults isn't the same as a real reset. A solid CMOS reset solves problems that a basic default reset can't.
Boost the power supply for each RAM stick by about 5% more than recommended. For example, if they need 1.35V, set them to 1.45V. Alternatively, consider slowing down their clock speed.

Before sending in a replacement, the best approach would be to buy a completely separate, compatible RAM module from another manufacturer. I suggest choosing a different brand and model entirely. If the new RAM functions properly, you can either return or RMA the old one. If the issue persists with the new RAM, it’s likely your CPU is the problem—you’ll need to test it further. Any RAM you buy online (Amazon, Best Buy, local store) usually offers a 30-day return window. It’s straightforward: try the new RAM, and if it fails, send it back immediately; otherwise, focus on troubleshooting the original unit.
