Win 7 is what matters. Win 7 represents everything. It might be time to part ways when Win 10 arrives.

Windows XP is older than Windows 7, which in turn is newer than Windows 10. It comes before Windows 8, then Windows 8.1, and it predates Windows 3.1.

I prefer Windows 8 and 8.1, especially the Start button more than just the latest version.

Right now I'm on version 7, but I used the TP for 10 and it works well except for the fact it was really unstable because it was just in beta. Maybe I'll switch to it sometime next year.

From my own trials with Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1 kept causing issues (moderated) and didn’t improve anything. Performance stayed the same or even got worse. I can’t say anything about Windows 10 yet—I might try it on a Shitbox when it drops. Edit: I have a .gif for this. No, I’m using Windows 8 for everything: ^^
