Hey there! I’m looking for advice on how to move your large YT subscription files from Windows to a Mac using a MacBook Air. I’m considering options like NTFS support, Parallels virtualization, or converting everything to exFAT. With around 20TB of data across 10TB and two 5TB drives, it’s a big task. What’s the best approach?

You might format the external drive for exFAT or a Mac-supported format. If you have a Windows PC nearby, connect the drives and transfer files via Ethernet. It’s unclear if the Mac Air supports 2.5Gbps wirelessly, but you could use a 10G Ethernet adapter over Thunderbolt—see options here: https://www.amazon.com/OWC-Thunderbolt-1...B07K7SMF89 or a budget 2.5Gbps adapter at $30. Alternatively, use a 2.5Gbps adapter on the PC if available, or opt for 2.5Gbps on the PC itself.

I'm planning to leave the country for a few months, which means I'll be using around six more laptops at home. Customs handling so many devices between nations will be tricky. Exfat looks like the top choice for this situation.
