Yes, it could yield 2-5% now, but in five years it should reach 30%, as shown in the GN video comparing 4690k and 4790k. Spending $500 every five years is equivalent to $200-300 every two to three years, with fewer platform changes.

These kinds of comments remind me that we can't truly grasp timing issues. We lack the information or references to predict upcoming CPU releases accurately. Keep waiting until they announce it so we can see how each processor behaves.

I'll look into the best CPU options available at the time, using placeholder names like 4900x/4950x for AMD. I'm trying to understand if AMD could keep up with or exceed Intel's performance next generation. This research would help me decide between buying the Z490 or X570 now, so I don't have to worry about reselling them in a year.

I only mentioned what AdoredTV shared in his latest clip. I wouldn’t speak carelessly, it’s not important. And I understand your point.

Pay attention – my approach has always been to purchase the best option and retain it for a long time. Perhaps that’s the same mindset others share. Ultimately, your money is yours and your decision matters. Many of these individuals are experienced professionals who understand the value. If you believe you require more than what’s currently needed, feel free to proceed—you’re now equipped to make a well-considered choice.

It's accurate that no one can read time, and I don't anticipate anyone will. However, examining historical data definitely allows for informed predictions when you put in the effort to analyze it thoroughly.

I'm working on a Zen 3/3080 Ti setup for a friend. I'm considering a second build myself, knowing the constraints of 8 cores and 16GB RAM. I think AMD's claims about gaming performance are overstated. They should aim to outperform Intel in single-core tasks with Zen 3, and I'm optimistic about achieving a 16-core gaming configuration with minimal trade-offs.

You pose a tough question and then react negatively to the responses. Real maturity is showing. Why do people doubt your decision? Because it’s the issue you brought up. You’re dealing with topics beyond anyone’s expertise. How can we predict how an Intel chip from next year will perform? Why are you concerned about power consumption when you’re investing heavily in a system? Oh, come on... they’re not focusing on the 10900k... I completely agree. Then they’ll say, “Well, someone suggested this, and it’s correct—you’re mistaken.” Sure. I can fabricate random figures from my mind. That doesn’t make them useful. You don’t have the right to judge whether someone wastes money or not; that’s entirely your opinion. These are personal judgments, which you’re not allowed to make. Comparing different generations of products is tricky—what you see now might be outdated by the time the 11900k is released. Why would you need to resell in a year? That also doesn’t add up.
