It will be sharper, and you can adjust other options for better visuals. You don’t need a subscription since online and game prices are usually lower. Also, since it’s a PC, you can handle additional tasks like video editing.

1440p setups aren't cheap at 1k. If the gap between 1080p PC and 900P PS4 isn't noticeable, maybe it's not worth the price?

Struggling to distinguish between PC ultra and PS4 titles at 1080p is tough—it's more about the frame rate. At 30 FPS it feels like a slow slideshow, whereas 60 FPS looks smooth. The videos on YouTube are also compressed, so the visual differences aren't huge. But in real life, it matters.
