Compare Far Cry 4 and Battlefield Hardline head-to-head.
These two titles offer very different experiences. BFH has a disappointing story and long cut scenes, while FC4 provides a solid single-player campaign and enjoyable co-op play. Both support multiplayer, though the gameplay focuses more on infantry tactics rather than heavy tank or jet combat. Hardline offers multiplayer with a strong emphasis on close-quarters combat, making it feel more like a tactical shooter. The biggest issue with BF4 is its player count, which is significantly higher than other titles at peak times, and Hardline only recently launched, so it’s hard to say it’s fair. Many improvements have been made to BF4, but the current version feels underdeveloped compared to its potential. For a solid solo session, FC4 remains appealing, while Hardline might suit those who enjoy close combat. Medal of Honor also had similar concerns, with EA pulling support quickly after fixes were released. Ultimately, Hardline seems like a better choice for multiplayer if you’re looking for a more balanced experience.
