Opt for Far Cry 3 and Battlefield 4 instead. They're quite similar to Battlefield: Hardcore and Far Cry: Bloodsport, but more affordable.
Far Cry 4 offers a great experience with plenty of time spent searching for items and completing missions. It's an FPS game that's quite enjoyable. I tried both the beta versions and found it mainly as a DLC for BF4. It isn't something I'd suggest.
