It doesn't make sense to compare a $160 board with a $350 one. Which parts are you considering? Are you thinking about boosting performance? What is your financial plan (currency included)?

Let me include in the guru's reply. Comparing motherboards isn't that straightforward. Each vendor adds their own unique touch to their boards. Right now, top brands like MSI, ASUS, and GB offer excellent options. It really depends on your priorities. Whether you want Wi-Fi 6 for higher performance, Wi-Fi 5, or specific features like M.2 slots or multiple SATA ports, consider the audio chipset, RGB effects, and PCIe availability. Think carefully about what matters most and choose wisely—picking the best value for your budget is key. 🎗✝

I’d say the Asus BIOS is my preference. Besides that, I think it’s clear that a $160 device is better than a $350 one. The Gigabyte model stands out in most aspects.

Based on the CPU you choose, you might opt for a x470 or B450 model to cut costs. Most of these work with 3rd generation via a BIOS update. I've used this board in a project and found it satisfactory—it offers good value for its features: https://smile.amazon.com/ROG-Strix-B450-...096&sr=8-8

It's clear you're comparing prices—specifically a 420 Euro board versus a 500 Euro board, which isn't a huge gap in this case.

Concerning the CPU, both Ryzen 3900 and 3950X are viable options. Regarding wireless, the difference between Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 6 is notable. For storage, you’ll need two M.2 slots. On video, onboard display isn’t essential unless you prioritize it.
