I'm cautious about purchasing from the UK right now due to Brexit concerns and the uncertainty around returns if issues arise. My choices are either buy in Ireland, which tends to be costly, or purchase from mainland Europe; shipping to Ireland can be challenging. In theory, I could take a chance and buy from Britain or even America, but that would involve additional taxes and wouldn't offer the same EU consumer safeguards. I'd still need to source heavy parts locally or risk high shipping costs.

Since I don’t have your budget in mind, PCPartPicker lists the x570 tuf plus at 250 Euros on the Ireland site, not 420. However, keep in mind that Spoiler PCPartPicker includes shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts. The prices shown are accurate as of October 23, 2020. Each board is compatible with a 3950x or 3950x/4000 setup, so you should be able to use it without issues.

I checked the details you mentioned, and it seems there might be some mix-ups in the numbers. The Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (WI-FI) at 507 is close to your reference, but the Gigabyte version around 500 also fits the criteria. For budget, I aim for the top options that offer good value without overspending—avoiding unnecessary waste while ensuring quality.

Each board I mentioned is solid. For someone who prefers simplicity, the hero isn’t really suited for casual play. All the options I listed can comfortably manage a 3950x.

Sure, I understood. The item cost about $90 initially, but its price has increased lately.

We can definitely pay $20 or more for the x570 chipset and still receive the latest PCIe 4.0 support, though results vary. Many users opt for the B450 with the BIOS update instead. You'll also find features like USB 3.2C or a USB turbocharger depending on your motherboard. Notably, some premium boards with built-in Thunderbolt 3 aren't fully compatible with Thunderbird 3—they require physical installation. For better performance, consider a Wi-Fi adapter or a Thunderbolt adapter card.

I’d choose the Aorus Master instead of the Hero. The Hero is decent, but the Master offers better features. It’s up to you which one fits your preferences best.
