Ideal for those targeting 60fps, 6350 seems more fitting according to the source.

It’s clear you’re emphasizing its suitability for smooth 60fps gameplay right from the start. Stability has been a key point throughout our discussion. Regarding performance consistency, your experience with the 8350 shows it handles games well without frame drops, especially compared to other systems you’ve used. The same applies to your i5 setup—no noticeable differences in stability across titles. Even at lower settings like 30fps in Star Citizen, everything runs smoothly. Your comments about AMD being better and Intel being solid reinforce the idea that hardware choice matters a lot for gaming consistency.

We're all respectful individuals here. That particular belief hasn't been heard of among us. I manage a 2500k and SC can be a bit inconsistent sometimes (just like everyone else), but it performs well most of the time, especially when paired with my 290.

FX8320 @4.5 GHz delivers 1080p at maximum settings using the GTX970. I’m seeing 50-58 fps in AC. Previously, I had to spend more on Intel, so I opted for this model.

For an AMD GPU, performance differences are likely minimal as it is set up to handle Mantle (or DX12 in the future)

It works well with a 290, that's all.
