Great! I'm curious about the ball on my F7A-M. It might be worth testing it out soon. I recall they once restricted its use for a while, mainly to balance the older AC models.

It seems the current setup isn't ideal. The design feels clunky with only two badger repeaters, four missiles, and no extra mounts. Shields have been cut, but speed hasn't improved.

The restriction on ball firing arcs was meant to be temporary. The F7C-M Super Hornet looks much better compared to the F7A in earlier models. I’ve noticed the F7C became less aggressive after switching from F7A, and it hasn’t been as responsive in free flight since version 1.0. From the F7C-M performance, it seems these aircraft will still be solid platforms for future upgrades. The current Hornets seem to lack a second missile rack, and there might be a bug causing nose turrets to be missing.

It's quite harsh. My Mustang outperforms it in all aspects except protection.

Super Hornet handles things well, but they should bring back the nose mounts for the Hornets. Otherwise, their strength would be too low. Just adjust your ship settings. I'm serious, if your view is locked and you aim by rotating the whole craft, you risk hitting the next asteroid without stopping.

It looks like a definite chance of being destroyed with the existing two maps we have.

I handle things that follow me by staying on a clear path ahead, keeping a safe distance from boundaries. It works well with Vanduul swarms—they stay close and adjust direction after a short delay before veering off once you start shooting. Adding some zigzag maneuvers makes it even harder to hit. Once I eliminate the pursuer, I recouple and boost to avoid drifting into danger.
