I chose a Mustang mainly for the cockpit visibility, and since I wanted a racer look, watching the Avenger video made me consider an upgrade. Thinking about it, I started a thread about cockpit screenshots. Here are the ships I can access in AC—please add your own with screenshots in AC as well. Try to capture them with centered heads and good lighting for fair comparison. Cheers! P.S. F12 captures screenshots, F7C, HORNET, SUPER HORNET, MUSTANG OMEGA 300i, AURORA LX

The cockpit perspective is clear... If I secure the SC, I’ll have that vessel simply since I couldn’t tolerate the poor visibility on the rest.

It seems like you're excited about the cockpit design and the Gladius style. You're considering upgrading to a wider screen, especially since the F7A-M offers that. The idea of a 1440p display with a high refresh rate is intriguing, though I suspect prices might drop next year. You're also thinking about a future monitor with overclocking capabilities and a smooth 21:9 IPS/PLS G-sync experience—though that might be quite ambitious.

Gladius really stands out to me in terms of style and authenticity. The cockpit design seems meticulously crafted, and the way the ladder descends plus the one-piece glass roof add a lot of character. I really enjoy this vessel ;P

I love the Mustangs cockpit too. It's pretty similar to the Omega, but it really minimizes blind spots.

It also guides you in the direction you focus on, similar to how a Comanche helicopter might have done (just like the Apache would?) It works well with the Oculus Rift.

Well, I found one, not sure if it’ll hold up or if I’ll upgrade to a 315p. Maybe I’ll turn my Aurora into a 315p too… It’s pretty nippy, the rotating seat is cool but it feels a bit cramped. Visibility drops a bit on the sides compared to the Mustang, but you get more overhead since you’re high up in the cockpit. The nose slants down so much you can actually see more than expected—or at least more than I thought. AVENGER

It's also helpful because it turns completely around, allowing you to capture shots of people moving behind you using your reverse camera.
