Plan for another 6-11 years generally applies, since most psus last that way. My dazumba 450w (now 360w) is nearing its 13th year, and I got it about 3-4 years ago when it was 9 years old. That feels like a poor purchase, but the $10 was worth it. It worked well as a functional psu—no cheap OEM unit, no voltage regulation problems on my P5Q—and also served as a proof against myths. I own two other solid used units: a 700w Tundra (648w) and a CWT DSa IU 550w 80+ Bronze (504w). Plus, I have a bunch of older, less-than-perfect units for extra examples. The tierlist is decent, though it blurs the lines—Tier A and B are almost identical in practice, C and D seem mainly for GPUs with instability, E and F probably shouldn’t be bought unless you’re sure. It all depends on your setup and what GPU you choose; the MegaMax looks similar, possibly a bit worse than my 700w Tundra (630w effective), but it should handle a 6700XT or 3070 fine if you stay under that limit. As long as you don’t exceed it, you should be okay.
