Have you noticed how large Chrome books can be, around 32GB? You'd likely need an external USB drive unless those EMMC flash drives are detachable. If I couldn't buy a new high-end laptop, I'd opt for a used ThinkPad instead.

I chose to buy a budget-friendly Windows laptop, such as the Asus E200HA. It remains more practical than a tablet. I plan to use it until I can purchase a mid-range gaming PC from Dell or HP for €400 to €600 or less.
