Windows 10 leads the market. Significantly ahead of SteamOS in a recent evaluation and better than Windows 8. Also, it supports DX12.

I really enjoy Windows 7. I think I’ll switch a month before the free upgrade to Windows 10. Since Windows 10 includes DirectX12, you might want to keep it too.

I recommend Windows 7 as it offers the most stability compared to XP, while Windows 10 is also a solid choice as the latest option available. Choose what suits you best.
