My device lacks Candy Crush and telemetry can be disabled if you understand what you're doing. Win7 required urgent fixes because it posed a security risk. It's not worth keeping Win7 as the operating system these days. If you don't need Windows, Mac OS and Linux are better alternatives. Although Win10 has its quirks, reverting to Win7 feels like a step backward. Working computers have made me less fond of it over time.
I've installed Windows 10 because it was officially in the beta stage and I wanted to test it before the official release. For the gaming community: Windows 10 supports titles such as Forza Horizon 3 and the forthcoming Forza 7, plus it integrates with Xbox accounts if available. This capability is quite valuable, especially with the extended security patches you'll receive. It also simplifies the upgrade process from 7 to 10, avoiding potential complications during installation.
