It seems you're considering upgrading to DDR5 soon, and the current pricing looks reasonable. Have you recently purchased the DDR4 kit?
Your GPU isn't utilizing the hardware efficiently. The 13600K is underused, and the 5800X no longer offers much value. Consider switching to an i5-12400 or a 3060 Ti. A 12400 chip would suffice, and even the i3-12100 should work well.
Heeeh, mostly agree, but that part is a bit of a sckretch tho. 4 cores / 8 threads is getting hammered nowadays. Still doing decent, but it's sweating a fair bit. Also the video editing part need that CPU horse powa, even tho there is a fair bit of GPU boost nowadays. A lot of things relly on the CPU, aspecially that timeline performance.
It's a 3060 Ti, it requires minimal optimization. Focusing solely on core count isn't wise—i3-12100 matches up with an i9-9980HK, which has an 8C/16T configuration, while the i5-10500 offers 6C/12T. A 12400 would perform better, but the 12100 still works well if budget is limited.
I believe you're underestimating my understanding of PC hardware... xD Core count isn't everything (FX CPUs showed it). Most modern 4 cores / 8 threads are really pushing limits. Absolutely true. Also, the 3060Ti is a GPU in its price range—compared to your 6800XT, it's not top-notch, but that doesn’t mean it can’t handle things. You seem to think it’s like a 1050 model. It really depends on the settings, resolution, and games you're running. Plus, it looks like you’re overlooking how editing or streaming affects performance. He’s not just a gamer—he’s also handling other tasks.
Consider a mix of options for a balanced budget. The board might also be more affordable if the OP accepts an mATX or omits built-in Wi-Fi, or vice versa. PCPartPicker offers a list with a CPU like Intel Core i5-12600K at $247.99 and a motherboard such as Asus TUF GAMING H670-PRO WIFI D4 ATX for $179.99, totaling around $427.98. All prices cover shipping, taxes, and available discounts. Created by PCPartPicker on January 15, 2023 at 20:19 EST.
