Almost all you're settling for is 6c/6t, which isn't ideal even for gaming setups. A triple A performance like AC Odyssey already strains it, leading to noticeable drops in frame rates and lows. The R5 3600 outperforms the i5 9600K, but the latter is expensive and currently offers poor value outside of gaming. If you're not focused on gaming, the i7 9700K provides better performance without breaking the bank.

This board seems solid for your needs. The KF i5 offers great value compared to similar models while providing excellent graphics support. For the motherboard, I’m unsure—what are your thoughts?

I just want to enjoy playing games. AMD might have had and could have more security issues in the past, but that doesn’t take away from their strong performance in gaming.
