What are the common upgrades? I need a CPU right now, not something for later. This argument has repeated over thousands of years with CPUs and, most of the time, the words end up being inaccurate. FX series often talk about this, Ryzen is great but the 3600 isn’t the best choice for gaming overall.
The sole point I made about security issues was because Intel's have significant problems, needing expensive fixes (like turning off SMT). AMD also has vulnerabilities, but they don't affect speed.
But what's the reason? The 9600KF seems faster now, but I'm not prioritizing a 2080Ti because money isn't that important. I'm not looking foolish and don't need a 9900KS either. Can anyone here provide unbiased details? So far, the 9600K is outperforming the 3600, yet I'm only getting explanations about why I should choose the AMD CPU at the same price but with less performance. This doesn't make sense logically.
