Probably all B450 boards use PCIe 3.0, maybe the earlier version had a mistake. [edit] That wasn't correct, I'm learning daily, LOL

If you have the means to wait, it's a good idea. At that point, we might find the price of the CPU and older Mobo models dropping slightly. There are plenty of quality b450 mobos available, and one suggested by @IAmAndre is a well-regarded option.

The PCIe connections originate from the CPU and are limited to PCIe 3.0. Conversely, the chipset provides only PCIe 2.0 connections.

I corrected my previous remark; the chipset, specifically the lower PCIe slot, supports only PCIe 2.0.

The top channel supports PCIe 3.0. The higher M.2 port also uses PCIe 3.0.
