I don't agree, the graphics are wild, the engine is great, especially with the cockpit view—it really lets you experience the car. Your 390 works fine too; some people on YouTube have tried it at full power, but if you're not into it, go for Dirt Rally. Assetto Corsa is way too dull compared to that.

It seems there might be some confusion here. The issue isn't about breaking a keyboard-only record, but rather about difficulties with setting something up or driving while using the keyboard. Let me know how I can help clarify!

I'm searching for something entertaining... so yeah... you won't mind the visuals... and I've seen the first review on Steam for Project CARS, you should check it out yourself. It really gets your reaction going...

But seriously, their trailers really get me excited.

I've got the game installed on my PC and I'm quite pleased with it. It's essentially a sequel to Shift 2, which I really enjoyed. However, keep in mind it does demand genuine driving abilities, so you might often feel frustrated navigating tight turns. For that reason, I'd recommend trying Dirt instead. I played Dirt 3 and found it equally satisfying.

I don't suggest playing games like Assetto Corsa using a keyboard—it greatly diminishes the enjoyment of driving. SMS' design choices are quite unusual; I can relate to most of what that person mentioned, and unfortunately much of it holds up. Still, PCARS remains a solid racing experience.

You can type using the keyboard, but with Assists enabled it's not very pleasant. Most MP sessions have Assists turned off. It's fine if you just play SP.

I think I'm joining the DiRT Rally because it looks more enjoyable. The graphics aren't that impressive compared to PCars, but I guess I can still play it on my laptop.

Dirt Rally is highly efficient with numerous features. Codemasters consistently deliver strong results in PC gaming.
