Search for a new dual-band network adapter under $45. The current Amazon link isn’t working for the 5.0GHz band, and the connection issues with game servers are affecting your experience.

These items represent a huge financial loss. Gigabyte offers an alternative that is significantly more affordable while delivering similar performance.

Everyone appears to overlook the issue where the original poster struggles to link to game servers on their card. If the concern is solely about game servers and not other parts of the internet, it would be questionable whether the card itself is defective.

Using 2.4 GHz or 5GHz works fine as long as the signal quality is good. It’s not related to a card problem; more likely a misconfigured firewall on your gaming device or router.

I'm not sure what's going wrong with my network, but I can't connect to my games at all—Path of Exile and Dota 2. It only happened when I was using the 5.0GHz band; everything worked fine on the 2.4GHz band, so I thought the issue was with the adapter.
