I’m able to link to the game servers smoothly on the 2.4GHz frequency, but not on the 5.0GHz band. I thought it might be the adapter, since I’m not sure of any other possibilities.

5 Ghz functions beyond gaming too; however, I remain skeptical about the adapter's performance. Could you share your signal quality details?

It functions beyond gaming, though the link cuts right away when I start something else. The signal remains strong at roughly 83% since the router is in a different space.

Have you explored other potential drivers? Additionally, what adapter are you currently using?

The drivers are current. I was connected via the adapter I was using. I'm checking https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a...6833320333

Consider checking for previous versions. Issues can sometimes appear in newer driver releases. The adapter you possess accommodates mini PCIe cards, offering additional upgrade possibilities.
