My choice would be the ASUS B450 TUF-Plus. For about $10 more, the MSI B550 Gaming Plus works too, though it's not essential.

I’d pick TUF since it offers more value at the same cost, though it doesn’t have the same aesthetic appeal.

You might also find a higher-quality motherboard available in refurbished or used form at a comparable cost. My system is mainly built with refurbished components and still operates smoothly. A few items even came with an active warranty.
